Each month we collate the diverse creative output of our community in our Sounds of dBs playlist to celebrate the continued excellence of our staff, students and alumni. 

One month into the new year and we are overjoyed with the amount of excellent new music being released by the dBs community. Expect a heady mix of glitch, pop, drum and bass, lo-fi and dubstep to enjoy, both via single releases and extended mixes from both Manami and Rem. 

Special mention goes to both BÆRFÜT and Vowel, whose featured tracks on this month's playlist are lifted from their new album and EP releases, respectively.

Vowel's 'Dusk' EP is a four-track DnB banger released through Overview Music, and BÆRFÜT's 'io' is a surprise album that was created in the wake of losing most of his music to a failed HD. The result is a diverse and infectious mix of tracks that provide the perfect positive backdrop. Link's to both releases can be found along with their social handles below.
