Nothing quite beats going down the rabbit hole of musical discovery, and we have a lot of incredible talent to choose from thanks to our students and alumni. Below we've curated 14 different artist releases from the last year for you to check out, and potentially, discover your new favourite artist.
1. Adjua - O.L.V
Adjua graduated dBs Music in the summer of 2019, and before we could even blink she had dropped her debut album O.L.V.
A real passion project, Adjua led its creation across recording, production, marketing and release, though she was keen to emphasise that you don't have to do it all yourself and to know when you can play to your strengths and when you need to bring in help on your weaknesses.

2. BURKE - Dracula/Bram Stoker
Earl Sweatshirt, classic literature and horror movies all coalesce onto this release by BURKE. Originally from Ireland, he made the move to Bristol on the recommendation of his parents to join us at dBs Music and was excited to soak up the scene.
Now a graduate, he has created Beats by BURKE, an online service that licenses his music to producers around the world.

6. Hamish The Human - 3340 ❂ crimea house
There's not much we can say about Hamish The Human's latest release except that we love it! A fantastic ambient piece that ebbs and flows.

Juan60 is on a mission to explore sound system music using a variety of different musical starting points. His first experiment, which was one of our favourite releases of 2019, is 'Desencanto'; a 3-track EP that takes traditional Cuban music and fuses it with electronic production. The results are incredible.
