Live Sound degree students gain work experience at Into The Wyldes festival

dBs Music at Into the Wydles festivalInto The Wyldes is a small festival that takes place in Cornwall at the end of May. This year dBs Music organised for three of our Live Sound students to go down over the weekend for some work experience with Nub Sound. The weekend saw performances from the likes of Rag'n'Bone Man, Chase and Status and many more great acts which our students helped engineer. They were using dBs Music's old Profile mixer as well as our new Yamaha CL5.

One of the students, Ben Tucker, took charge of the CL5 while the other two, Jerome Attrill and Sam Cutler, functioned as stage hands which involved setting up the PA, stage patching and running a flip flop system which means they miked up each band backstage ready to be wheeled on stage for their performance. A great opportunity for the dBs Music live sound students who all got another dose of real world work experience under their belts.
